My experience at Maynard High School was an overall positive one. It allows for a lot of opportunities that many other high schools do not have. For example, I took advantage of the WAVM radio station throughout high school and found my passion for the communications field, which I likely would not have discovered if I was at a high school without a substantial radio and TV program.

Teachers don't care about your success, you are never heard in the building. the curriculum is awful, the only good part is when the bell rings and you get to go home. The nurse yells at you for asking to go home while texting your parents, making you upset. overall not a good school IMO.

This school is a hidden gem in Massachusetts. I have worked there as a substitute while my children attend a better-known, larger high school that frequently rates top of the charts. However, I think that MHS is probably a better choice for many families. It is a small, self-contained district where...

Great, small school in a wonderful community where students are well-known and supported by staff. Interested students can participate in every aspect of school life; several varsity sports teams have "no cuts" and there are a wide variety of clubs (academic, community service, foreign language, etc...
