Hickory Flat Elementary School has been a terrible experience for my children. Children are constantly threatened/given with "silent lunch" for unjustified reasonings (ie. standing up at their desk to grab paper out of their backpack or forgetting their lunch tags at home). The bus drivers here are bad she kicking people off the bus because she does not like me and my friend and when she said she was kicking the back of the bus off she really kicked me and my friend off like i dont understand..

This school needs a new principal that cares. It is one of the worst elementary schools in the county. All they care about are ways to get money out of parents. Your child will definitely get left behind academically. They hire some of the worst teachers. Here one term then gone the next. They const...

I’m very disappointed with this school and the quality of teachers. We pulled our child out in the middle of the school year to send them to private school where he thrived. This school will leave your child below the state and national academic standards.
