I'm an 8th grader who has been here every year of middle school. Anyways, this school doesn't really care about Its students. Bullying situations are handled terribly as if the staff does not care. Teachers barely know how to teach because all they do is write on the board, assign work, or just assign tests instead of ACTUALLY teaching us to process and remember the information. The food can be good SOMETIMES but usually it has kids throwing up or feeling sick which obviously is not okay. Our dress code/uniform is so stupid and half of the students don't even follow it. That's all I really have to say other than the fact that I'm glad to be leaving and moving on to high school. A MESSAGE TO THE PARENTS: If you feel sending your child to attend Mcdonough Middle School, think twice. I personally wouldn't send my child here. ( If I had one that is.. ) I give this school rating a 2/10. So, if you're having your child go to MMS, be prepared for the ride of a lifetime.

great, student are allowed to excel with the support of teachers and staff ,As a parent you have to take some responsibility for how your child develop and support the systems that are in place to support learning
