I am currently a senior at McGehee high school and for this school to be located in a small town it's not that bad. We have amazing sports teams,and for homecoming we go all out. I like that we are available to take multiple AP and college classes. There's also this skit sophomores do every year where they make fun of seniors. I got to participate in sophomore servers two years ago and it was the best experience ever. I do hope that in the future there will be better breakfast and lunch provided for the students.

What I liked about McGehee High School, is the culture. We take pride in everything we do. Sports, band, club activities (like BETA, a national convention) etc. We take pride in the red & white ! It's red and white against the world. That's why I love my school, it will forever hold a special place in my heart. One thing I would change is the food. Don't get me wrong, it's better than ever before, but it still needs some work.

I loved how no one just gave me a grade. You definitely earn your grade as well as your diploma. They have multiple after school programs that provides extra help if it is needed.
