Overall my experience at McGill was good. For the upper level classes which I were in, the teachers were good and I successfully learned the subjects. Even though one of the school buildings are old, the facilities are still nice. Most of the counselors are helpful.

Administration specifically the assistant principal not receptive to parent's concerns. Athletics specifically men's basketball political and the Coach/Son relationship is bias. The teachers and staff overall supportive and pleasant.

Mcgill Toolen was a great school. All the students there are very sweet and kind. Since i've graduated, I've noticed that i am much smarter than most people i talk to who didn't go there. They put us at a much higher standard and expect a lot more from us than other schools around. Once i have kids, i'm going to put them through Mcgill as well because i can see the difference between McGill and the other schools around Mobile. We are very blessed to be able to go to a school where they notice and care about you. If i was struggling they would help me and didn't stop until i understood what i was doing. There is so many things you can choose from to get involved with the school. 68% of the kids of the class of 22 was granted with scholarships from many different colleges and we also had the highest grade records throughout a class since Mcgill started. We are definitely ready for college and the classes will be easier for us since we were held to such a high standard.

Solid, Sound, Catholic high school and a rallying point for the Mobile Catholic community. Excellent extra-curricular programs, too, including a good athletic program and excellent fine arts and choral program. Dedicated faculty, staff and administration--all with long average tenures on the job, wh...

I went to Mcgill my freshmen year. Although I didn't stay the full year because I switched to murphy(i don't go there anymore either), I really regret ever leaving in the first place! Mcgill's teachers are some of the best of the best, especially in math and science. You can tell in class that if yo...
