GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience was a little different with Covid happening my freshman year. My first year was great up till covid hit. My second year the hybrid schedule was good to actually get homework done and you were never stressed about school. My third year I tried doing running start and it. Didn't work out and the high school really helped with my transition back to high school. My final year I was so pumped for a normal year of school all my teachers were super nice and supportive. Towards the end of the year I got a medical condition way to close to graduation and it put me out of school for a whole week and all my grades dropped but my teachers helped me get my grades up.

I loved Mt. Spokane because it was such a warm and welcoming environment. I went there with a bright smile on my face and ready to learn in their place because they made it fun and interesting. It wasn't just a school to me. It was my second family. Kids I grew up with the last 13 years and longer. I will always support MSHS because they supported me though my struggles and my downs and made me who I am today. And I am grateful for the school and staff and facility, everyday of my life.

I recently graduated from this high school and I could not have asked for a better high school or education that prepared me for college. The teachers are amazing and the environment is safe. There are a limited amount of classes offered, but what they do teach, they teach well.

This high school is honestly a joke. As is true of the district as a whole, the students aren't motivated to learn, the teachers aren't motivated to teach, and the admin is detached from reality when it comes to academic success. Take, for example, the fact that Mt. Spokane HS has over 30 valedictor...

I graduated from Mt. Spokane several years ago. As a student, I was pushed by my teachers to take AP classes, participate in STEM classes, and pursue my love of music. Every student was expected to achieve, and those who didn't got a lot of after school help. At this school, it was possible to succe...
