Hillsdale Elementary School was constructed in 2016 as part of the master-planned Hillsdale community. Hillsdale is one of Southwest Boise's newest primary schools with an innovative architectural design that allows for team-project learning, wide hallways and modern facilities.
Serving a diverse population of students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, Hillsdale Elementary’s educators strive to provide children with holistic education and influence future success. Young learners follow the Hillsdale Heron in showing respect, kindness and teamwork throughout their school day.
Accordingly, Hillsdale Elementary School students perform well above the state average in math, literacy skills and reading. Music, art and G.A.T.E. curriculum for gifted learners are also available.
The campus amenities include state-of-the-art classrooms, a two-story common gathering room, a full-service cafeteria, a gymnasium, a performance stage, a playground and several outdoor activity courts. Hillsdale Park is just behind the school, making it an ideal playdate location with your kids.
Students love interacting with the dedicated teachers here as well as the annual school events which include the fall school carnival and West Ada cleanup event, where parents can work with kids to keep the community looking its best.
Though Hillsdale Elementary School is a popular choice with children and parents, it strives to keep small class sizes and provide individualized attention to every student.

It’s a very average school... nothing to get excited about

Excellent. We’ve moved 20 times and it’s my favorite so far. Dealt well with my child with learning disabilities and are getting her the help she needs. Teach great values and are great to the kids. Amazing facility and a pleasure to work with.
