GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The high level academics & sports is what I liked most about the school. No matter if it was a community college or university, they cared enough to get you a higher education.

Teacher's love their students. That is the only redeeming factor, here.Currently there is a lack of focus on student accountability at the administrative level. Students pretty much run the show here and the administration seems lost on how to deal with it.

Going to MHS was the best thing that happened to me in my teen years. Top notch teachers. Great programs. Technology was above the rest. Many sports to chose from. People give MHS a bad rap b/c it is a city school but I think it's better than the county.
