GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Meridian is a small 2-A school. The best thing is that everybody knows everybody. I would change the extracurricular activities offered to the students. I feel like the school does not care much about the extras like prom, senior week, fundraisers, etc. Things are very mediocre and not much hype into any of it.

I like the small, comfortable size of the school, lunch is decent most days, but there is not very many athletic people, so i am not sure how much longer we will continue having teams.

The counselor here is super helpful, and always knows what to do. Although she is new, she has taken to her job very well

Most teachers are not certified, parents are not notified of this fact. Little to no discipline. Teachers are told to pass students in athletics.

I would give this school an excellent rating because they really took me in when I didn't know anybody and now I'm friends with everybody and the teachers are very nice too.
