Home of the Explorers, Entz Elementary School welcomes students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade and is guided by its motto of being respectful, responsible and proud. Entz Elementary is a part of Title 1, which provides financial assistance to Arizona schools to meet the needs of academically at-risk students. Extra instructional services and activities are provided at no cost. More than 700 students call Entz Elementary their home school. It has a low student-to-teacher ratio of 19-to-1 and sits on a spread-out campus with plenty of room for playing, sports and outdoor time at recess. The school has a very active PTO that throws multiple events and fundraisers throughout the year. Entz Elementary is also a Blue Ribbon school, a national program that recognizes quality public and private elementary, middle and high schools based on their overall academic excellence. Only five Arizona schools in 2021 earned this prestigious title. It is a part of Mesa Unified School District, the largest public school district in the state of Arizona known nationally for its achievements in academics, sports, creative and performing arts and career and technical education.

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

When I say friendly they can go up against any receptionist, secretary, etc. They really are so kind and get done what you need to get done. The principa...

My child has been at this school for almost three years now and she has had amazing teachers every year. All of the teachers/staff I have encountered have been caring and helpful. The principal is personable and effective. He is hands on and the kids love him. Such a great school in my opinion!
