State test scores show 72% of Green Park scholars are proficient or better at reading, which is higher than the Louisiana average. Uniforms are required for all children attending the school, and vendors for the official logos can be found throughout the city of Kenner.
Green Park Elementary strives to inspire children to become lifelong learners and strong leaders. They do this by focusing on the entire child and not just academics. Its mission is to educate, motivate and nurture each student to reach their full potential and build practical skills for high school, college and beyond.
Green Park is just one of over 80 Jefferson Parish schools which features a 1:1 technology program. This means every child has access to a Chromebook or laptop. By incorporating unavoidable technology into the student’s everyday lessons, the child learns to use the Internet safely, responsibly and for work as well as play. Jefferson Parish Schools also offer a family technology literacy course throughout the school year. Great school I went to Green Park when I was younger in now my two boys go to Green Park. My youngest has autism and I am so impressed of how much he has learned. I would NOT send your child here.This school has be come trash. Some of the teachers dont even stop the fights. I know many parents that have took their child out of this school.Their are some good teachers still here but not that many.Green Park needs to be under review.

Caring teachers, lots of student activities & a great, warm learning environment. I wouldn't be happy sending my kids anywhere else!
