GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I obviously as any other highschool student found myself wishing to get out of this place. But now that I'm gone it saddens me looking back at all my memories that I had made there. But to look to the positive the school provided me with an education that'll certainly help me in my future.

High school really is only what you make of it. Massac might not have the funding and budget of a school in Chicago, but it has the heart and backing of great teachers to be on par. Dual-credit, AP, job occupations, and so many other offerings make Massac a great choice for people considering many different life paths.

The teachers I had were very nice and understanding when I struggled. However, I feel sports are valued more than other fields. I believe the arts in the school should get more funding.

It's no wonder the school is bad. They insist on keeping that math teacher that was in trouble. He's a horrible role model on the diamond, too.
