GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

During my time at the School for Advanced Studies, I felt that the teachers and counselor prepared us for college-level classes. However, there are a lot of things in regard to college that they don't tell us until it has occurred. For example, I found out this year as a senior that the University of Florida was only accepting AA degree students as transfers and not as freshmen.

My experience was mostly good. I got the great opportunity of being able to go to college at the same time as I was finishing up high school, which helped a lot in terms of money since the college classes were paid for by the school. The teachers were mostly helpful, the classes were good. It was just a lot of brain usage as you have multiple high school AP classes as well as various college classes in between. Now that I am done I do feel accomplished but I can definitely say that it was hard to balance everything out, especially with a slight language barrier, I felt that I had to work harder.
5.0 Junior

Genuinely the best school I've ever been to. I am currently a junior but my experience so far has been great. The school is like a family and there are so many resources to help you succeed. All the teachers are super knowledgable in their field of study and I truly think they all care about the students success. They are also super supportive with our college course load and I don't feel like they give unnecessary amounts of work or "busy" work either.
