Midlothian High School serves ninth through 12th grade students as a high-performing school within the Chesterfield County school district. Midlothian High offers students a variety of ways to achieve academic and personal success. Students can choose from a robust list of electives to fill their school schedule beyond the traditional core subjects. My best experiences were school events. Most of my teachers are good as well. Admin was a bad experience, and some teachers were not good. Ones that caused issues and did not teach and admin would not do anything.

Overall I think that Midlothian is a good school if you are already drive in school. The administrations favors kids who do well in school, an is overall not very good. However it is one of the better public schools in the area when is comes to academics. Most of the teachers at the school really do care and are kind, however a few you should watch out for.

The experience at this school has been rough. The worst part about this school is that they don't care about student wellbeing. I had cancer and some of the teachers that I had shared no concern of my well being. I had two surgery's within a month and all that the school did was to rush me into doing work that was already a month late. What I would like to see change for this school is teachers actually caring for their students mental and physical health

In my experience with three kids at this school. I’m not sure how they have more than a star. The bullying is outrageous , the lack of administrative support for parent or child is ridiculous. If you have special needs kids don’t be fooled and don’t sign away rights on an IEP. Advocating is challeng...

I have had both my sons at Midlothian High School. The school is run FANTASTICALLY. Dr. Shawn Abel, the principal is highly engaged. Both of my kids have had thoroughly enjoyed the high school and all of the ancillary activities and programs. Covid year was rough, but the rest was outstanding.
