GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Opportunities are rather limited. Money is tight in the community so funding for clubs and events is virtually nonexistent. Resources/ammenities aren't very extensive. However, the teachers I've had are fantastic.

CCDHS has been a great experience, and has helped shape me into the person I am today. There's tons of people and friendly faces. Although, In the future I want them to focus more on their students. They care about grades more than the students actually understanding the material.

My experience at Custer County District High School has been very good. The teachers are always helpful and understanding. The counselors are very helpful in making sure that students have the classes and credits required, and pointing them in the right direction for the future.
