DDS is not the school it used to be. My children attended DDS for the past 3 years. The culture of the school is not one of kindness or tolerance. There is an extreme bullying problem at this school. Although many of the teachers are wonderful and the setting is picturesque, the school is lacking in many areas not limited to sports and extracurricular clubs. The tuition far exceeds what is being offered. I would absolutely not recommend Dutchess Day School.

Dutchess Day School has an incredibly supportive community which results in confident students eager to engage in all aspects of the academic and extra-curricular opportunities offered to them.

There is not a better education to be had in the area. The teachers are thoughtful, committed and nurturing. There is ample hands on learning and applied learning.
