Under new administration the school as a whole is headed in the wrong direction. Emphasis is not put on learning, or hiring qualified staff. Student safety is swept under the rug to keep up appearances. Student to teacher ratio is not 14:1 in a majority of the classrooms. The number of students to teachers is much higher. Very dissatisfied and disheartening where the future of this school is headed.

I like how close everyone becomes and the friendships made as well as how small the class sizes are making the teachers readily available

John Milledge Academy is a very small school. The academics are not very challenging, and the teachers are able to be very accommodating since there are not many students. The campus itself is in need of some upgrades. The athletics are pretty good for a private school. There are not many clubs, but it is easy to get involved in the ones that are available. There is very poor diversity at this school. Family oriented, small town private school.

Recently I have pulled my three children out of this Academy. My kids have been coming home with increasingly concerning comments that I feel like everyone should be made aware of. John Milledge offers a safe, caring environment for students to thrive. My child has been there for 4 years and we have been pleased with the education he receives.
