GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked the atmosphere and the teachers. Each is firm but forgiving. I never encountered a teacher who angered me or frustrated me. As long as you are willing to work they will teach you. My main problem stemmed with the office staff. Our school has a person who not forgiving on any rule and will make you feel like you have done something extremely wrong like breaking a law simply for wearing certain clothes or beards. I hope that they could ease up on the rules and not make us feel ridiculous for not remembering all the rules.

Very friendly environmental school. Very happy place to be. Having ILT(Independent learning time) is great to have to study and do any homework.

I liked how the school has its schedule this year and the dress code.I also like how diverse the school is. I would like to see more clubs and organizations. Also I would like to see the school add more electives. And have us take more notes. And in science i would like to have more hands on experiments with a lot of more detail. They should have more foreign language classes than just a Spanish course. The school should add more agriculture classes.

TAKS, unfortunately, is a NIGHTMARE to teachers & students. Teachers have no choice but to teach the test. I've been there, & done that. If students do not master , it is a reflection on them , teachers, & the district. Our legislatures need to be contacted.l As far as responsibility, that begins at...
