My daughter was in the dual language program and we had a lot of ups and downs due to the transitional nature of the program and teacher shortages. I would not suggest this school, they don't get parents involved, they "don't see" bullying, they don't help students with anything, they don't let kids socialize and the recess is very short

If you are new to this district beware. Other districts in and out of the surrounding area are much more inclusive than Mokena. I have always thought of education as a partnership between school and home, but in this district parents are treated as an impediment to their child's growth and developme...
