GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really enjoyed my high school years. Everyone was really nice and helpful to each other. My favorite part would be the Friday nights when everyone would come to watch the boys play and how they just had a lot of spirit. Being an athletic trainer for the football team was really fun and it showed me that we were really a family when it came to sports.

I do not have good memories about my high school memories. Monahans High School does have good teachers and other faculty. They truly care for the students education. They also have good sportsmanship when it comes to sports. I learned so much from teachers and coaches about how college is going to be and what to expect. I would like to change the food to be better in the cafeteria so more students could eat there than eating out.

If you're looking for a great school to enroll your kid, don't pick MHS....They do nothing about bullying, your child will be picked on for being different, if your child ever gets in trouble more than once, they will peg your child as a bad student. Teachers disrespect your children(not all are bad...
