GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sterlington was a great school to attend. It had its cons, but overall was a great place to attend and call home.

SHS is a slightly above average school in my opinion. Most of the teachers there are excellent and ready to teach, with a few exceptions. The food is meh, and there aren't very many clubs to choose from besides BETA. I would not recommend attending if you would like your child to be apart of a sport other than Football, Softball, or Baseball. Those three sports are the only ones that seem to get financial backing from the community and school itself.
