Monroe high school is a place that offers a variety of clubs one of those being the Redhawk broadcasting crew, the only broadcasting crew in high school offered in Union county. Not only this but we also have "HSA" or health science academy which is partnered with atrium this partnership offers diversity in our school for job outlooks in the future they are granted an opportunity to shadow medical staff at our local atrium health hospital as well as taking courses in the medical field at our local community college. though we may lack in academics our administration is doing their best to resolve this problem they have come up with a group of math 1 student tutors,me being included. Not only is this a great opportunity for the student tutors to get more involved with our school but is helping our fellow peers that need the tutoring. Our teachers and students are trying their very best to excel and make Monroe high school a prospering place for everyone making my overall experience unique.

Teachers are great at building bonds with their students, they care about our wellbeing and our academic success. This school provides many resources for the students like: job opportunities, mental health resources, bagged food, and guidance for after high school. I love what my teachers have provided me.

Monroe High is on the smaller side of a public school in Union County, but there are still plenty of people to make acquaintances/friends. It is most likely the only high school in the county that is not overcrowded. A lot of outsiders assume due to location that it is a terrible school, when in reality the staff are great at their jobs and most of the teachers are some of the nicest teachers you will ever meet. They are always willing to help you out, or help find someone that can. I had the option to transfer to a "better" high school in the county my sophomore year, but I feel as if I would not have had as great of a high school experience if I chose another school.

I am a currently enrolled student. I transferred here my freshman year after attending a private k-12 school. This school has by far the best: sense of family among students, teachers, facilities, and administration that i have ever seen. I love Monroe each day I feel like my education matters; and...
