I have been to this school my whole schooling career. It was an okay school I never hated the school. But I have never looked forward to coming here. This is school's diversity is a little to none the school 88% white. The school's culture is okay but depending on when you come into the school dictates how inviting people are. Academics are subpar the school used to provide APs and honors but due to the incorporation of CCPS. Overall I would rate this school a 6 out of 10.

I came to Monroe from seven years of purely homeschool. My family thought it would be beneficial for me to have some of the public school experience for high school, and so far I have been nothing but happy with my experience. They have been so accommodating with my hybrid schedule and I feel very welcome in the environment. I've found a great and accepting group of friends and all of my teachers are so nice and good at their jobs. Maybe I'm just not there enough for me to see any bad sides to Monroe, but so far my experience has been nothing but positive.

I believe Monroe Junior/Senior High School needs an entire new building to begin with. It is overcrowded. I also think classes should be longer with less forced electives. The teachers are always rushing while teaching because they feel like they must with so little time. I do like my peers at school although, it is a good environment to be a part of clubs and activities because it is a smaller school, so, everyone knowns everyone.

School is focused on their state average scores, much to the detriment of the average student.
