I love Monterey high! I'm in the Monterey academy of oceanographic science and it's all math and science related and we take college classes and it's just a really good program and school!! They also have sports and art related academy which is also cool.

Some of my best experiences surrounding Monterey High have been in sports and the science and math programs. I competed in two separate school sports, and on both of these teams the environment was fun and encouraging while still being competitive. I haven't had very many negative experiences, but some of the teaching styles can be difficult to follow if you aren't used to fast paced classes.

I went here for all four years. It is a fairly solid school despite the financial challenges many of the students face.

Hopefully in the future I can see the campus become more beautiful like it used to look like with the towering spanish gothic spires and mystical murals, but the first thing that needs to change is the dis...
