It's honestly the best school that I've ever been too, I actually feel as if I can be myself for the first time, and I no longer dread going to school

Teachers are still top notch contributing to it once being the best private school. New administration has lessened that considerably by lowering the bar for acceptance, mass changes in faculty, favoriting donor parents, and workplace division known to community.

York High School’s poor administration stifles independent thinking and creates a toxic environment. The leadership is not good, enforcing rigid rules and overwhelming workloads that emphasize “rigor” over students’ personal time or mental state. Dwindling enrollment has led to cuts in academic programs such as French, band, Latin and other humanities electives.
