My experience in the Monticello Community District has been wonderful. I have not had any terrible experiences at this school. The students and faculty have made me feel welcome and loved the whole time here.

Monticello HIgh school is overall a great school. A variety of classes to take and many sports and after-school activities. The teachers are all nice and each have their own fun personalities.

Monticello High School has taught me a lot about the future. I feel as if I am prepared to go to college and continue my education elsewhere. The classes offered to us are good at preparing us for what we need to know in the future. If I could change somethings about Monticello, I think I would change how strict it is. We never got to have many fun days or do goofy things without getting in trouble. I wish I got to have more fun during school too.

I see the most recent review is 9 years old. Much has changed in the past decade. MHS still strives to meet the needs of all students. Some of the steps taken are: Partnership with Kirkwood allowing students to earn tuition free college credit while in high school, online courses, improved technolog...
