I attended two years as a junior and a senior at Hendrick Hudson High School. I began my junior year during covid times and when school was all online. I'd say that was the least favorite thing about my experience because I didn't feel like I fit into the school. Not many teachers helped me catch up to the class's speed. However, as a senior it became better as it was all in person. I would say my favorite part about senior year was my AP classes. I took AP Calc AB and AP Physics 1 & 2. I feel that those classes really prepared me for college.

Overall, I have had a good experience at Hendrick Hudson High School. Most teachers genuinely care about their students well-being and enjoy their jobs. I would like to see changes to the inside of the building, as it is outdated in certain areas.

Good. The school makes interesting decisions. Very welcoming teachers and some students. Enjoyable experience if you get to know people there.

While Hen Hud may offer many great things for general education students, its handling of special education leaves much to be desired. Our son transferred here from a local Catholic high school, and we found Hen Hud to be vastly superior. We were impressed with the variety of course offerings, and the teachers seemed genuinely interested in seeing the students succeed. The administration also was helpful. There's more socio-economi...

Students at this school are well-prepared for college. There is a great focus on students with special needs, advanced placement, music and art, sports and building a great sense of community through diversity.

We moved here from another state with very highly rated schools. Hen Hud easily eclipses our old school.
