I transferred to Palmer Ridge very recently so I cannot say that my experience is the same as everyone's experience. The career start and dual enrollments are very good for college readiness. The teachers seem quite nice so far. The school itself is new and in good shape. The student body is really not diverse and hasn't felt too welcoming though, which isn't really the school's fault, but is worth noting.

Overall, a great experience. Like all schools, politics are played with sports coaches and the allowance of students whose parents work onsite or for the local city entities, given preferential treatment. Teachers were better suited for our daughter at PR rather than LPHS.

I've had an overall good experience at Palmer Ridge. The best parts of my experience have been joining multiple clubs and how understanding some of the teachers are about juggling so many classes at once. The worst part of my experience has been my Spanish 4 teacher for the first semester of my junior year. She gave us very hard assignments and didn't follow the given curriculum. She eventually got fired after the first semester that year.

I struggled a lot with my learning disability and this school was ill-prepared for a student with my type of hearing situation. The teachers were super nice but the problem was with the vice-principal and counselor, who made my life a living hell. I transferred schools because of both of them.
