As a Senior at Freedom High overall the experience I would say has been like a roller coaster. It's had its ups and downs. There were days where the school provided what it was needed from them and there were times were it was not provided whatsoever. Although the student population is a big number you are still able to make a very good close friend to have your back over the course of the years. You as well are able to meet new people, which can be exciting. But for me it was truly a wonderful experience to be part of the such a good and high spirited school. And like the always say "Once a patriot always a patriot".

The best part of my experience at Freedom High School has been being able to connect with friends an my classmates by participating in sports and the many clubs offered. I would like to see the cleanliness and the organization improve.

Most of the teachers are great and really make sure you are learning and can get the help you need. Plenty of club and extracurricular options for students.

Four of my children have attended this school. Hands down this is the most diverse school in our county for which I am grateful. Also, the gifted students program at Freedom possesses a rigor and excellence lacking in other schools in our county. College bound students are well prepared for the next...

Freedom is a most excellent, diverse, student oriented High School where the students excell both academiclly and athletically as well as in the arts (Band program is one of the best in Western North Carolina.)
