The best part of University High School is getting to always laugh with your friends and the culture and the food is kind of bad but it's okay

At first, it was hard for me to adjust to the school, as I had just moved here during Sophomore year, and I had absolutely no friends. I ate lunch alone almost everyday until a few teachers actually noticed and checked on me, and then I began to make friends. Now, I feel like I've learned to love and cherish University High School, even the worst parts of it. I've learned to realize it's actually a decent school and everyday they're trying to make it a more warm and homey place for students.

Good school, i've enjoyed my 4 years there. I just wish there was more funding towards the arts programs.

Lots of unfairness within the school. Staff treat people differently based on how they perform, athletics, and education. Toxic environment, some if not most of the administration have egos and seem to be full of themselves in a sense that they look down on students they don't see potential in. For...

We moved just to attend this school. We have loved everything about it with the exception of a biological male being allowed to change with the girls last year and 0 notification from the administration. This was literally weeks after the tragedy in Loundes county Virginia. When we went to the offic...

I am not sure why there are bad reviews here. This is an excellent school. I have been receiving a great education here. Most of the teachers that I have had are very passionate about what they teach and get subject matter across effectively. The principals here are very understanding for the most p...

Teachers here are unfair. There is a bigger football coach in my math class who is unfair to a special needs boy who is nonverbal. He will repeatedly stand behind him and say "I know you can hear me", instead of trying to help him get comfortable or understand. There are teachers who will follow gir...
