The teachers are pretty amazing, the rigor isn't as much as it could be to prepare us for college, their is strong community.

From being at PA for 3 years the academic part of the school was great, I learned a lot that I don't think I would have at any other school. The downfall of the school was some of the teachers and our community meetings. We would have our flex (study hall) taken away from us many times throughout a single month rendering it almost useless. We had made a petition and yet they ignored it. The teachers are okay but not amazing.

Teachers are eager to work alongside motivated and passionate students and find ways to open the door for them as best they can with limited resources and opportunities. For a small school, I would say Peoples Academy is best at what a small school can do: establish relationships between students and faculty.

I have two daughters in the middle school. The only thing this school actually teaches is how to violate freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and impeads on the right to having a public education. This school put the feelings of students and teachers above actually teaching kids and preparing the...

They understand children and how to teach them so that they understand and learn. You will only get out of any education exactly the effort the students and parents p...
