Laurel Hill Primary School serves pre-kindergarten to second-grade students in the Park West neighborhood. Accredited in 2008, students receive a top-notch public education while gaining invaluable social and emotional skills.
Located on the southeast side of the neighborhood, students participate in various activities throughout the year, giving them a sense of community appreciation from an early age. In addition to the standard core curriculum, the school offers exploratory courses such as technology, PE, music and art, helping students realize their passions and talents.
Special events like community movie night, the annual color run and Spring Carnival, pajama day and monthly spirit nights keep parents involved and students excited about learning. Between essential stakeholders and partnerships with many large businesses, the school receives the funding, resources and support needed to host fun events and activities.
The small classes give students a unique hands-on learning experience while still introducing them to critical social situations and peer learning opportunities. With experienced and dedicated teachers, the school consistently ranks above average in academic categories and student achievement.

My child has learned alot and does receive extra help in subjects that she struggles in which is great! My child has never complained about anything in school or any of her teachers which is all that matters. I WILL say that I think the PTA is a little ridiculous with how it is always giving teacher...
