GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall it has been a very good experience. There is always room for improvement, but most students would say that MCHS is a very good high school. Students are College and/or Career ready.

I loved my experience at Montgomery County High School, but now as an outsider looking in I can see flaws and ways it could be improved. Some of the staffing I disagree with, college readiness as in exploring careers, and some of the sports facilities need MUCH improvement. Over all, I think it is a great school, however, I think the environment overall could have improvement as well. Keeping politics out of school and learning as the main focus being a big issue.

Large school but plenty of opportunities and safe, nice, clean facilities. Great staff that make sure every student is cared for and academics were top tier.
