I believe Mountain Iron-Buhl to be a good school with good students. I especially love my grade. However I do believe that my school doesn't make students fully ready for college. I believe that the missing harder classes hold many students back. It's not until 11th grade that you can sign up for any college classes (in other schools you can sign up in 10th) that is just one example. Our school is falling behind academically compared to neighboring schools. I believe that we spend to much time and money on athletics seeing how we have good programs. Though this also coerces students to spend more time on athletics than in academics. There is also near bo funding going towards our art programs. Specifically the speech and drama programs (This is despite the speech team doing very well). Overall Mountain Iron-Buhl is a school with very good people though it limits students both academically and artistically.
