Cowan is a small school which can be a good and bad thing sometimes. Bad, everyone knows everyone's business and things get around easily. Good, it's easier for people to get involved, better sports, and good for children who are scared of their being many people. It's amazes me that some kids don't know more than half of their graduating class because they are so big. It's an amazing thing to be able to connect with everybody.

Cowan is a very nice and quiet school. The academics are better than some other schools around the district, but nothing compared to the top schools of our district. Money is not used for things that the school needs such as better heating for the school or better buses for sports teams. The money is rather used for new gym floors in the auxiliary gym that is never used for games.
