GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the music program, you get to meet alot of people there. However an problem is commitment in the student body. For example there is about over 800 kids in the entire school so we're an 4A school. However you would expect something like the marching band to reflect that when in reality it's only about 120 members. There's an third of the school that does nothing.

There are many teachers that teach only so they can get their checks. Many are also very oblivious to the problems in their classroom. There are people who do drugs and don't pay attention as well as bully others but the teachers don't care they can sometimes be nice. Some of the teachers are there to help others. They help with student problems both in and out of the classroom but those teachers are very rare.

Great teacher although they vary. School spirit can be found everywhere and the clubs offered can help find a fit for anyone.
