GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've attended Oakridge since preschool. Oakridge has been at a downward spirl since I was in the 6th grade (2018-2019). From lack of parental involvement to behavioral issues, staffs attitude to mistreatment among kids, I do not recommend. Onto safety concerns, we have had multiple bombing threats, fights that have sent kids to the hospital, drug deals in the woods, and much more. On academics, we have an extremely low SAT score due to teachers lack of care for their kids -some exceptions-, lack of resources for kids to get help, and the lack of understanding of material. Finally, onto the extracurricular and sport focus. As I participate in 11 clubs within Oakridge, there are a good some of choices to go through when choosing what to do. Although we have those options, they are highly unorganized, highly under funded -unless your in football-, and high lack of involvement from both students and faculty. In summary I dont recommend Oakridge to anyone.

The best part of Oakridge High School is the classes and the teachers, the teachers they have at Oakridge are nice and always willing to help their students with their classwork. The worst part of Oakridge is phones because some students are always playing on their phones in the back of the class.

I have been attending Oakridge High School since my freshman year, and I love it here. Oakridge HS provides its students with multiple opportunities to push themselves academically by letting them take a variety of AP courses or become dual-enrolled/Early College students with our local community college, this gives students choices for classes. I am a current dual enrolled student with my college classes being covered by the school to work towards my degree, and this experience is making me college-ready. I don't believe I have a worse experience other than little details that have made me upset, but I would like to see a change in how teachers conduct students' behaviors. There have been multiple times that a simple conflict could have simple resolutions but have ended in escalation where the student was removed from the class.

I am a student of this school, and though there are some good teachers, most of them are not at all even ok. Everyday is the same. I feel like I am drifting and weeks only feel like days.

Oakridge high school is by far one of the worst schools i've delt with unless your kid is really into sports I recommend don't send your kid here. The students are treated like robots. Every thing is policy policy policy read the hand book. There is no personal touch here. my child has been bullied...

Great teachers, and the small class sizes allow student to be able to get more time with the teachers.
