I've always had a supportive team at Hunters Lane my teachers stayed on me because they seen my potential and knew I could do better I have dearest regards for the people that got hands on in the things that'll help me In the future, giving me opportunities others wouldn't have received and, putting me in positions to eat and thrive. Shout out my family, Ms. Harding, Ms. Brown, And my principles for being understanding.

Hunters Lane Comprehensive High School has been the worst environment I could have ever accepted to be put into. At first I thought this school was a pretty decent one seeing the diversity of students and a "friendly act" faculty put on during a school tour.Moving from a whole different state I didnt do much research since It was a fast move and this school was the closest to my new home. The school offers very good programs of IB and career academies but overall subject like math and reading are below average. The schools safety is also one of the biggest problems there with many physical fights that have led to huddle of students around the environment which can led to multiple injuries. There was this one time where a group of girls jumped another girl which of course like always random students started to huddle and someone pulled out pepper spray and many students were effected by it.Recently they were forced by the school district to add wepon detectors which is a great thing.

Hunters Lane High School was a very diverse school which was good because there was always somewhere for a person to feel like the belong. The culture of Hunters Lane is that everyone kind of keeps to their own group of friends, but there is overlap bewteen people in one group and people in another. There are a lot of mutual friends between each other. The safety of the school could definitely use improvement because there were a lot of fights, lots of drugs, and a couple weapon safety issues.

I truly wished this school could live up to its potential, especially given its proximity to my home. Unfortunately, it falls far short. For those zoned to this institution, I extend my sincerest sympathies. The school suffers from a pervasive lack of discipline and oversight, with safety seemingly...

The school's IB and Honor Program is great. The teachers actually care about the students, and the program is a great opportunity for kids to excel. Unfortunately, the overall environment that these kids have to learn in is absolutely horrid. There are way too many kids that don't care about their s...
