I am class of 2024, and have been at lead since the 5th grade. Going to a charter school both has its positives and negatives, but I can say that in high school they definitely prepare you for college.

Lead is a great school for academics but lacks fun. My experience was great with friends and I enjoyed my teachers, they actually cared about me and wanted me to learn

What I liked about Lead Prep Southeast was that it was a good environment to learn and meet many people. And based on my experience so far, everyone cares about one another and cares about each other's well being and education. What I would like to see is for the school to let us have more opportunities to see colleges and have fun during the field trips that every grade deserves to go to.
