Nashville Prep is a tuition-free public charter school that serves children in fifth through eighth grade. The school’s supportive environment is evident throughout its community, and the faculty prioritizes student and parent engagement in everything they do.
Nashville Prep is part of the RePublic Schools Network that strives to reimagine public education in the South. Nashville Prep is one of six charter schools located in Nashville and Jackson, Mississippi that seeks to help largely underserved students receive an excellent education and put them on a path toward success.
The goal of Nashville Prep’s curriculum is to prepare each scholar to attend the college of their choice by building a solid foundation in math, reading and computer science. Students can learn about robotics, coding, app development and more to give them an edge in future careers. Nashville Prep students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular clubs and sports such as basketball, cheerleading and track and field.

Nashville Prep is very good with academics. Food can very much be improved. The teachers are very nice, they work very hard to teach us as students and help us succeed. The facilities can also be very much improved, for example, separating the cafeteria from the gym. Overall the schools for academics.
