Nashwauk High has significant issues with inconsistent discipline. Students vape and get bullied in the bathrooms. Some students get suspended while other recieve no discipline at all. EBD students are allowed to lay on the floor and do nothing all day. Teachers have very little support from the Administration and the School Board either doesn't know or doesn't care.

Some questionable decisions by the school board and administration led to some turn over in staff. This left us without the ability to offer much in the way of college readiness courses. The biggest complaint by most students is the lack of course availability that are interest to most students.

I would like to see more opportunities for students in the future. Not only in academics but extra curricular activities also. I did like the atmosphere of the small school. You get know everybody.

Thank god for open enrollment. The teachers do not help they just leave it up to the iPads or just let it slide if the kid has a name from a parent that grew up here. So many of the kids leave and go to the alternative program they call the ALP for kids who are not helping the schools scores. With s...
