GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loved my time at NHS. The teachers have been amazing and so supportive. my time there was some of my most developmental. I wish we had more opportunities for outside learning or unique speakers. overall it was definitley some of my best years

Great community that really supports each other. Teachers do an excellent job of setting students up for college and sending them away prepared!

Overall very good, but does lack class selection, clubs, athletics, and diversity that could be found in larger nearby schools like Ames.

After receiving all my textbooks, I glanced through and was mortified to find Nevada did not prepare me...
