The best part about nevada is volunteering for the community to get silver cord hours. I don't think theres anything bad about our school. I love the volleyball team and all extra activities. I would like there to give healthier options at lunch in Nevada.

I only went there the last two years of school. I lived in Texas prior where we had weighted GPA's for harder classes. When I moved there they stripped away the weights and it lowered my GPA, so I was a bit upset about that. Compared to how I actually had harder and more critically thinking classed in Texas as well. I don't enjoy the point system that Iowa has adopted for grades. It does not set you up for college , it sets you up for failure. You need to teach good study habits when it's not as busy in a students life.

Nevada is one of the small town basic high schools. Everyone knows everyone, the teachers are pretty good. The exams are standards based which does not prepare students for college, i know that from experience. The administration is mainly based on last name. Overall average.

This school would rather have a good political outlook than it does about student success. They attempt to push students to progress in negative ways that do not benefit the students mental health.

Justin Gross and Jeff Baker are excellent and enthusiastic leaders. I am so proud of them, and the work they have done to raise the standards at the high school. Building renovations are complete and the result is a beautiful and state-of-the-art place for learning! Teachers have ALWAYS responded to...

This school is very cliquey and if you are not in the right click you will be easily passed over. As a former student with an over 3.0 GPA average, I decided to attend the local state university. After receiving all my textbooks, I glanced through and was mortified to find Nevada did not prepare me...
