NBHS has a lot of amazing classes. The academy's really help student to figure out what they want to do outside of school and gives them experience and connections. But there is a drug and violence problem. A lot of the teachers and adults are amazing but there are lot of terrible ones. The school work isn't that hard and I don't really feel very challenged. At the end of the day this school is mentally draining

New Britain High School could use some improvements, for example, decreasing the amount of students that use controlled substances/vapes and weapons in school. Perhaps this could be accomplished by having a security device that detects weapons and allowing security to pat down people before walking in the bathroom.

New Britain high school has so much potential to be great. It's a school filled with bright young students that all have the capacity to be great. There isn't any bad aspects about the school but I would say that you should let one thing about the school represent the school as a whole. Overall New Britain High School is an amazing school that I've enjoyed for the past three years.

I just saw a review where someone from the class of 2002 was told by their school counselor to drop out...it's so crazy coz I was in the class of 1992 and was told in 1991 (age16) by my counselor to drop out as well and he wouldn't let me continue in regular school. So i dipped out and got my GED

Really happy with this school choice for my kids. Would recommend to anybody looking for quality high school for their children

If you have a disabled child I do not recommend this school what so ever. New Britain high school fails on providing an Appropriate EDUCATION program to students.

I was a student at NBHS class of "02" and now a parent. I was pushed by my guidance counselor to "withdraw" myself when i was of age to do so...some kind of guidance i was told to drop out just because of slipping grades? I was also told that i would never get into college! I was young and ignorant...
