GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The staff and teachers are always willing to go an extra mile for all of the students. The only problem I have are same students are selected for awards, honors and leadership positions.

New Brockton High School is a good school. However, it places certain athletes and their coaches above the wellbeing of the entire school. Academics are placed on the back burner in most cases and the administration doesn't back up the teachers when problems arise in the classroom. That being said, many students strive to maintain focus and excel academically at NBHS.

The principal is a bully! He begs for parent volunteers but runs them off if they disagree on anything. Vaping, drugs and bullying is rampant and the principal does nothing to stop it.
