Being at Amistad has been a very unique experience and has taught me many valuable lessons that I can take into the real world. At Amistad the culture is very HBCU style which I believe has contributed to my desire to attend an hbcu. Their after school activities has also built a very family oriented environment. I have been apart of drumline since sophomore year and ever since I joined I always felt like I had a second family. That experience is something I truly believe I can't get anywhere else

Af Amistad is a really good school to send children to learn. It is a fun and exciting environment where students get to have fun while getting educated.

I understand that its an academic school, but I would like to see if get funded more, especially for sports, because that would be the cherry on top for the school.

This school is a mess my daughter went to kg now she’s in 1st grade but I am pulling her out due to lack of leadership, the teacher is mean to the students and show no compassion towards the students. There’s no parent teacher relationship whatsoever. The principal have no control over the teachers....

My daughter is constantly getting detention for the smallest of things. This does not encourage responsibility nor citizenship. My adopted son has been attending Amistad Middle School and I must say it has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE. Never in my life have I seen children constantly mistreated and spoken to like they are beneath the teachers. We have had several meetings with teachers to explain our sons abusive histor...

I love the school this is my daughter 5th year in the school. She is the youngest in her peer group and she is above average in most of her subject. The school teachers are easy to reach via email or text. This was the best thing I did for my child.
