GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Although Coop is a great school with amazing culture and diversity, there are many fights. The people in Coop are great though!

My experience in coop has been pretty nice. The teachers are nice and its a real good place if you're really interested in the arts. Due to the teacher shortage I've been hearing a lot from specifically creative writers about how the creative writing art is falling apart however I'm not a creative writer its just something I've heard. There are also only 3 guidance counselors so it's really difficult to get any help if you're having issues that a guidance counselor should help with. To go to this school you have to REALLY like your art because you do it everyday and have yearly performances or event to showcase it. I take choir which is really fun. You can only choose one art but there are opportunities to do others such as the yearly musical or electives. Sometimes they're are fights in the halls and such but its just a loud minority of people.

Great school for the arts & music. Good teachers and extracurricular programs. Badly underfunded, but that's expected of a new haven school.
