My experience in coop has been pretty nice. The teachers are nice and its a real good place if you're really interested in the arts. Due to the teacher shortage I've been hearing a lot from specifically creative writers about how the creative writing art is falling apart however I'm not a creative writer its just something I've heard. There are also only 3 guidance counselors so it's really difficult to get any help if you're having issues that a guidance counselor should help with. To go to this school you have to REALLY like your art because you do it everyday and have yearly performances or event to showcase it. I take choir which is really fun. You can only choose one art but there are opportunities to do others such as the yearly musical or electives. Sometimes they're are fights in the halls and such but its just a loud minority of people.

Co-op has been the best school I have attended fo my academic career. The way the school is able to incorporate the arts and academics is amazing and has definitely been beneficial to me

There are many teachers that truly care about their students education. Speaking with many of them (particularly the English department) has helped monumentally with the transition to college with adequate preparation

This school nurtures creativity and intellectual development in a safe and supportive environment. Students select an arts major and pursue it for four years, in addition to their academic work. Coop After School is maybe the best such program in the state. The school does not offer interscholastic...

Coop is an excellent school. We are both strong in the arts AND in academics. The rumors that are said about Coop are 99.9% of the time untrue. Being a junior, I know a lot about the school. The environment is very open to anyone. You'll be sure to find people who share your interests.

My son is an alumnus of this school. They provide a superb arts education along with standard high school curriculum. Students are encouraged to continue on to college and the guidance department really does their job.
