GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Personally for me, This school wasn't awful like some students make it out to be. My favorite experiences at this school would be playing on the soccer team. We performed very well and strives us to keep our grades up so we could stay on the team and get scholar athlete awards.

Some teachers do better than others. Overall they are okay, could be better though in helping students and good teaching skills.

I come from a very small, rural school. There were only a little over 30 in my graduating class. We have the same teachers for 2 years for our core classes. For example.......The same english teacher for 7th and 8th grade, then for 9th and 10th grade etc......If you don't care for a teacher, you are stuck with them for 2 years with no others to choose from. While there are good teachers, there are also some that are not very good and having them for two years in a row can be difficult.

My children are in this school and they love it. They are in track and swim. We have no complaints. We appreciate the teachers.

As a recent graduate of New Lebanon I would say that the school's greatest strength is the teachers. For such a small district we are have been incredibly fortunate to have educators that push their students while being sensitive and aware of outside issues in all students lives. We have also had a...
