I loved everything moment of attending George Washington Carver high school, also known as GWC. During my time at GWC, I was given an ample amount of love and support. Each and every single day my teacher showed up 100% — even when they weren't doing the best themselves. I will forever carry their love and support through my life. Everyone should get the chance to experience GWC because my GWC bettered me.

Carver highschool is an extremely encouraging school. I've heard a lot of things about the types of people who go to Carver and some of it's true but in my experience every single teacher cares about my success. They try their hardest to award the students oppurtunities that will help us succeed in college. The environment is full of school spirit. It feels like a family.

Something I like about GW Carver is the amount of work given to really test my intelligence and the quality of the work. Things I would like to see change is the relationship of teachers and students. I feel as though students do not get as much of a voice as we should and we are constantly looked down upon. I also feel as though our environment isn't a good environment to be in because of the lack of respect that the students have for the teachers. Another thing that could change are commitments being made but not being followed through.
