It believes excellence comes from self-discipline and that the school cannot exist without its community. It asks students to take pride in learning and strive to be creative problem solvers. The goal is to prepare each student for high school, college and a career through integrative learning, so the students can empower their communities and themselves. In 2016, the school was one of eight to receive a grant dedicated to training educators and creating a makerspace at Osborne Charter. Makerspaces are places where advanced skills in a subject can be learned. For Osborne Charter, the makerspace teaches hands-on, real-world technology skills to prepare students for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Homework is way to often, missing parts, or full of typos, or just poorly explained in the instructions. It's ok for a child wit...

The teachers waited until the week before LEAP to prep kids. I went to private school my entire life and this school i...
