St. Pius X Catholic School is a coeducational institution serving students from prekindergarten through seventh grade. As a National Blue Ribbon School, it boasts a low student-teacher ratio and small class sizes, which helps teachers offer more personalized instruction.
Founded in 1953 when the Lakeshore district was in its infancy, St. Pius’ well-established location at the center of the Lake Vista neighborhood allows local children to walk to school, using one of the five expansive greenways that all lead directly to the parish.
St. Pius infuses its instruction with the latest technology with an iPad program for first through fourth grade and a Chromebook program for middle school. All grades offer cross-curriculum programs in grammar, reading, social studies, science, math, foreign language, art, physical education, music and library skills, plus weekly mass and daily religious instruction. Extracurricular activities include a variety of indoor and outdoor team sports, chess, Lego and art clubs.

I had such a great time at St. Pius X. I made so many friends & memories, and I feel that it really did help shape who I am today. I will never forget my time there because the people were so great, I had fun everyday, and I learned so many valuable lessons.

St. Pius is our home away from home. It's one of a kind. They offer electives (Art, Computer, P.E., & Spanish) that most kids don't get until high school.The teachers and staff care about your child and have a passion and love for teaching. We love the community of St. Pius and its our second family...

St. Pius X is a little gem of a school nestled among beautiful trees and parks. Teachers stay forever and you never hears parents complain. Such a lovely atmosphere for children to be surrounded by. Super involved parents.
